Things are re-drawn, cleaned up, beautified. Uncomfortable facts are left out. Animals talk, dance and sing, and are never eaten. Women wear scant clothing, and never have to worry about scratches, stains or blood. This revision of history is an insidious plague which threatens to wipe us out in the same way smallpox eradicated millions of Native American people in the 16th through 18th centuries.
